About The Design
This print was commissioned in March 2023 just after the Tokyo Marathon. Tokyo was the first time Endorphins members met up internationally to host a shakeout run. It was the first time Endorphins members from across the world met up to run together. The inspiration of this shirt is heavily influenced by the rich tradition of illustration and comics embedded in the Japanese culture.
At the heart of this design is a fearless girl dashing through Times Square - Endorphins HQ - a symbol of the bustling metropolis and the endless energy it offers. Her presence is electrifying, and to capture that essence, lightning bolts dance around her, conveying the electrifying rush of endorphins coursing through her body. While she may appear to be alone she is surrounded by the energy that unites us all.
About The Material
This shirt was handcrafted in Los Angeles. Made of 100% USA sustainable cotton, this textile is thick, durable, and absorbent, and is virtually shrink free as a result of garment dyeing. The garment is washed with natural enzymes, resulting in a broken-in feel, just like a T-shirt that was washed or worn for a decade or two. Its special features include its heavy and sturdy feel and combined with a more generous fit.
